The European Congress on Biotechnology ECB2024 in Rotterdam
The European Congress on Biotechnology ECB2024 will be held on 30 June-3 July 2024 in Rotterdam (the Netherlands).
It will be a joint event combining:
European Congress on Biotechnology ECB2024;
IBS2024, the major event organised since 1960 by the biotechnology sub-division of IUPAC, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry;
NBC-24, the annual meeting of The Dutch Biotechnology Association (NBV).
The over-arching theme for the 2024 Congress is “Grand Challenges for Biotechnology: Health; Food Security; and Global Warming”. To meet these challenges will require close cooperation between industry, academia, research institutes and national governments. The scientific programme will therefore focus on how to translate front line research into commercially viable applications.
